Wrapping Up My Holiday Stories

I have left Yogyakarta for almost 2 weeks since January 18 to 29, 2017.

Instead of only going back to my hometown in Tasikmalaya, this time I also went to Bandung for a friend's wedding.

That's right, a friend's wedding. Where has the time gone?

This particular trip that I am about to tell you was quite special, because I spent more time staying in Bandung than the last time went there.

It also feels great because, unexpectedly, I got the chance to meet with several friends from high school. Kind of cheesy I know, but it was true.

Before I go for the trip, I keep reminding myself to document everything by taking picture of the moments that are happening along this trip. But I honestly forgot to do that on the beginning of the trip. So here are some pictures I took under my "recovery" plan.

For a starter, here I show you a short video of Cirahong's view from my ride to Tasikmalaya from Yogyakarta;

 BANDUNG

Sadly, in this part I can only get very limited pictures. These pictures below are even from a friend's camera (shot-out to Decky Jay!).

I went to Bandung on January 20, 2017. It took me around 4 hours to go there by train.

While in Bandung, I stayed in a friend's place named Imran. A big shot-out to him for being a really good "liaison officer". 😄

My main objective of going to Bandung was, as said already, to attend a friend's wedding. (Congratulations for both of you, Rizka and Valdi!) Other than that, I just wanted to hang out.

Here are the pictures that I can show you when I was in Bandung;

High school buddies (left to right): Satria, Riky, Adam, Me, Imran.
Really nice to see guys!

A group picture of SMANDA Alumni. Of course not all.

TASIKMALAYA

As I returned to Tasikmalaya on January 23, 2017, all I did was basically just chill out.

My actual plan was to return to Yogyakarta on Thursday (January 26, 2017), but my dad told me to wait for my mom because she had not returned yet from Bogor, and so I did.

While waiting, I went for a little nostalgic culinary session with my dad.

I went to buy the legendary Bubur Ayam (Chicken Porridge) Haji Zenal. Here are some picture I took when I was there;

I think they never change this sign.

Pretty much how the bubur ayam was made.
Clearly I am not a good photographer :D

How the bubur ayam itself actually looks like.

My mom arrived in Tasikmalaya on Saturday afternoon.

Before that, she had promised to take me to a restaurant called Nini Anteh

That afternoon, after I picked her up at the terminal, we went directly to that place.

Here is how the place pretty much looks like;

The Place's Sign.
Ps: it was raining and getting dark, also taken by a not-so-good camera :D

The Foods.
They serve, mostly, Sundanese food in buffet style.

Look at What I Had for Dinner!
Roasted and fried chicken with some side dishes.

Good for the Concept, Just Okay for the Foods.

GOING BACK TO YOGYAKARTA

I finally decided go back on January 29, 2017.

After having 11/12 days of holiday, I think I should go back and take care of my thesis and businesses in Yogyakarta.

Also I think there's nothing much I can do in my hometown. So here is how my trip back to Yogyakarta looks like;

I Always Enjoy the Singe Seat, 13B/1C.

Minutes Before the Train Arrived

There Were Plenty of Vacant Seats.
College students must be still enjoying their hometowns.

Yeah!
A mirror selfie won't hurt :P

Beautiful.
Don't know exactly where it was, I just snapped it through the window from my seat.

A Little Stop.

Zoom It!
And find the mistakes!

Not sure if it was flood.
But never seen any water surface this big crossed by the train to Yogyakarta.

And So I Finish this Article.

See you again!

  1. I have always loved taking classes, attending lectures and seminars, reading and, lately, attending a plethora of teleseminars. Have you noticed that there are more right now than ever? Yes, I would agree that I am a strong proponent of lifetime learning and education.http://www.thesisexample.info/
